La Carlota City, Negros Occidental —

In line with its unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility and community care, Central West Medicale Inc. (CWMI) has successfully conducted a Relief Goods Operation in Barangay RSB, La Carlota City, to support families who have been affected by Typhoon Tino.

The recent typhoon left many residents struggling to recover from its devastating impact. Responding to this urgent need, CWMI extended timely assistance by distributing essential food packs, drinking water, hygiene kits, and other necessities. The initiative was designed to help affected families meet their immediate needs and provide relief during this challenging time.

The relief operation was made possible through the leadership and compassionate guidance of Ms. Hamela V. Juson, President and CEO of Central West Medicale Inc., together with dedicated members of the CWMI team. The group worked hand-in-hand with Barangay RSB officials and community volunteers to ensure that all relief efforts were well-coordinated and that aid reached those who needed it most.
“At CWMI, we uphold our mission of promoting not only health but also compassion and community resilience. Through these outreach efforts, we hope to bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to families affected by Typhoon Tino,” — Ms. Hamela V. Juson, President and CEO, CWMI

Beyond the distribution of goods, CWMI’s visit served as an opportunity to uplift the spirits of the community — reminding residents that they are not alone in their recovery journey. The presence of volunteers and staff offered emotional and moral support, reinforcing the values of solidarity, empathy, and bayanihan that define the Filipino spirit.

CWMI extends its heartfelt appreciation to all volunteers and community partners who contributed their time, effort, and resources to make this outreach possible. Their collective compassion reflects the heart of CWMI’s mission — to care for people not only through medical innovation but also through acts of kindness and service.

This initiative forms part of CWMI Cares, the company’s ongoing advocacy program that aims to extend help, hope, and healing to communities across the country. Through CWMI Cares, the company continues to demonstrate that its mission goes beyond healthcare — it is about building a healthier, more compassionate, and resilient nation.
